thanks for visiting vn and lend a helping hand. i think vietnam still need alot of help to recover, especially from us to the top officials, so they can make some changes to help the ppl instead of trying make more money for themself.

I just found out this blog researching the GoVap Orphanage.
My wife Nadia and I visited the Orphanage in May 2007 during our trip to Vietnam on behalf of some NGOs. We were photographing pro bono the NGO's projects around the country.
The visit to the Orphanage was a powerful emotional experience for us.

We applaud Jennifer and all the other people that are actively helping this children.

You can see some images we have shot during our trip in Vietnam on our website

We hope to travel to Vietnam again soon and we hope our images can help these worthy projects.

Thanks!

It is wonderful that Jennifer stuck around to be here with the kids in Vietnam and I'm sure her help (and caring heart) were appreciated by both the kids and staff at Go Vap. She is correct in her assessment about the need for medical check-ups and regular visits, but I will add that these are needs throughout Vietnam. We are working hard to provide that same care to the kids in Tra Vinh, who never get seen by medical providers unless one strolls through town, or is lost! Fortunately, we brought along two of these special people recently and they provided some minor miracles in a very short time. I believe that when people like Jennifer take time from their busy lives and spend it in such a marvelous way as she has done can change lives--hers and all of those she touches! Cam on nhieu, Jennifer (and to you, Nicole, for sharing her story with us!). Chuc mung nam moi, or Happy New Year, to you and all of your readers!!
